Fragrance tin dazzles

Mont Source Inc., Newport Beach, CA, introduced its 60-mL bottles of men's fragrances packaged in an unusual and elegant metal tin designed by Antista Design (Atlanta, GA) and manufactured by J.L Clark (Rockford, IL).

Measuring 2 5/8" sq and 4 1/4" tall, the tin is lithographed in black, gray, gold and silver. A line pattern surround-ing the entire tin gives it the look of brushed metal, while a geometric design along the bottom and re-peated on the lid adds an intriguing highlight. The total effect is almost three-dimensional as light is picked up and reflected from the patterns. Available in salons since November, the 60-mL fragrances sell for about $35.
