Mocon is donating its state-of-the art Lippke™ 4500 leak detectors and RDM brand HSE3 gradient heat sealers, as well as its operating expertise.
As part of the university’s packaging science department in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences, the new facility is being positioned as a hands-on teaching, research, and service facility. When not in use by students, the facility will be available on a fee basis to allow food processors to create and market smaller test runs.
