Sales of Scotch whiskey in Singapore, China, India, and Venezuela are surging.

Demand in India will grow even more after a decision to end taxes on imported wine and spirits. Dewar's Scotch whiskey, owned by Bacardi, will invest 120 million pounds to increase production to capitalize on these emerging markets. Money will be poured into blending, bottling, and packaging of this popular drink.
