Automatic maintenance module

Trident (Brookfield, CT) announces a new Automatic Maintenance Module that is said to significantly reduce operation costs by cutting the amount of time and money companies spend on maintaining and repairing print heads.

The AMM cleans print head orifices at adjustable intervals of anywhere from 2 to 32 hours. Factory dust, sealing glue, corrugated fibers, and any other substance that commonly causes orifice clogging on the factory floor are automatically purged from the print head. This eliminates the need for priming, wiping, and cleaning of print heads.
