The donation is part of an industry/academic partnership between IEJATC and Siemens Energy & Automation (Alpharetta, GA). “The eight wall-mounted motor control stations give our students the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience and skills they will use in the field,” says Ron Christ, director of the IEJATC. “If we had to purchase the equipment ourselves, we could have funded only a single station, which would compromise the quality of hands-on training that students receive.” For more information, call 317/270-5282.
