Bill Newland, incoming Constellation Brands CEO
Constellation Brands, Inc., a leading beverage alcohol company, has announced Bill Newlands will assume the role of president and CEO on March 1. On the same date, CEO Rob Sands will assume the role of executive chair, and current Executive Chair Richard Sands, will become executive vice chair.
Newlands joined Constellation Brands in 2015 as EVP and chief growth officer. In 2016, he assumed additional responsibilities as president of the company’s wine & spirits division. A year later, Newlands became the company’s COO, and in early 2018, he was named president of Constellation Brands.
