Recycled-material PETE films

Klöckner Pentaplast has partnered with Packaging 2.0 LLC to introduce SmartCycle™ PETE films to the company’s line of rigid film products.

Made from recycled plastic bottles, these films are used for general-purpose and other food-contact thermoforming for trays, clamshells, surface-sealed blisters, and various other containers. Klöckner Pentaplast is the exclusive global supplier of SmartCycle packaging films. Processed with renewable energy, the films are offered with various guaranteed levels of post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. The SmartCycle logo appears on all containers using the film, helping consumers make educated choices about purchasing as well as recycling after use.
