Scholle Packaging announces price increases

Scholle Packaging has announced a global price increase across all segments of its flexible packaging product range.

This includes dairy, wine, beverages, food and industrial products. The packaging industry can no longer absorb the sustained increases in petroleum derivatives particularly related to flexible packaging feedstocks and fuel used for distribution. Rather than compromise on its commitment to customers, Scholle will institute a comprehensive price increase in tandem with its cost-saving Lean enterprise processes. “Value for our customers is one of the core principles of the Scholle family and the corporation they created. As such, we are continually dedicated to providing innovative products that are practical solutions for our customers’ needs,” says Tom Bickford, Executive Vice President of Scholle Packaging. Scholle’s latest advances include new aseptic flexible packaging technologies and Jerribox®, an environmentally responsible alternative to rigid pails.
