Oscillating haul-off

H-nip, Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering’s horizontal oscillating haul-off, is said to randomize most minor die, air ring, and tower film gauge effects, giving assurance that wound rolls of film will be flat. There is no film contact on the turning bars, thereby minimizing any tendency to form stretch wrinkles. Features include simplified tower installation, thread ups that can be accomplished by a single operator, and easy access to nip roll and collapser adjustments.
