Robert's Packaging Open House

Last week, Robert’s Packaging held an open house for suppliers, customers, and the press at their facilities in Battle Creek, MI.

Pw 14040 Roberts

There, the company introduced a new pouch machine targeted to the confectionery and snack markets.

The C-1240 high-speed stand-up pouch packaging system produces stand-up/zipper pouches at speeds to 130/min. Machine has been designed to accommodate both retail and club store sizes (4” to 9.5”Wx5” to 15”Hx0 to 0.5” gusset). A rapid-change sealing system incorporated into the design provides the opportunity to take full advantage of the wide size range with an improved changeover capability. Machine incorporates substantial improvements over older systems, mainly through the use of the latest servo technology and a new user-friendly control system.

Guests also toured Robert’s extensive contract packaging facilities for receiving, storing, processing, and packaging for both regional and national customers.
