Twin-packed Silks

Perio's dual-pack shave cream for women combines value and convenience.

Pw 5367 Pur Silk

Dublin, OH-based Perio, Inc., has introduced a twin-pack format for its Pure Silk line of shave cream for women. The twin-pack offers a special value for consumers while providing the convenience of getting two cans in one package.

Graphics for the sleeve holding the Raspberry cream are adapted from the individual cans. The sleeve adds a glossy and eye-catching look with the use of the heat-shrink polyvinyl chloride film. Printing is done flexographically in six colors by the supplier of the sleeves, Seal-It, a division of Printpack ( www.printpack.com).

Sleeves for the other two creams—Melon Splash and Coconut & Oat Flour—allow consumers to see the product they are buying. Clear space is abundant on these two sleeves, but they do hide the UPC codes printed on the cans and provide a new UPC code for the twin pack. The colors of each label complement the individual cans and offer maximum point-of-purchase impact.
