Alcan wins two awards

Alcan won two awards at this year’s European Rotogravure Association Packaging Gravure Awards.

Alcan’s Toronto’s Living Large Lottery packaging won the award for plastic films and composites as well as the “best in show” distinction. The Living Large Lottery packaging consists of an 8-color rotogravure print with both a special background border color and registered white. The ERA Awards take place annually and entry is open to the rotogravure industry worldwide.

According to Rockwell Automation’s 2025 State of Smart Manufacturing Report, CPG companies cite quality improvement (45%), cost reduction (44%), revenue growth (43%), risk reduction (40%), and higher OEE (40%) as the top business outcomes they expect from smart manufacturing investments. Nearly 70% of companies not yet using smart manufacturing plan to invest within the next 12 months.
