OK International Corp. has announced their new Supercloser SC700 Polybag-in-Box Decuffer & Heat Seal Bag Closer.

The SC700’s unique decuffing and sealing functions occur at a single station instead of multiple stations. This compact function results in less space being taken up for the machine.

OKI’s Supercloser SC700 Polybag-in-Box Decuffer Heat Sealer & Bag Closer automatically un-cuffs a filled polybag, clears the case flaps, stretches the bag/re-folds gussets, tamps out excess air and heat seals the bag within the dimensions of the case to protect the filled product.

Driving the SC700 is a high-speed indexing conveyor with an in-feed gate, bag decuffing vacuums on all four corners of the assembly and a dual impulse heat-sealer. The machine can also be configured with air evacuation and optional gas flushing. Settings and operation for this machine are controlled via an Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC with a color touchscreen HMI.
