New clarified PP concept bottles for the personal care market have been developed by Silgan Plastics in partnership with Milliken Chemical and Phillips Sumika.

Extrusion blow molded in a 12-oz size with grip sides, the “grippy” bottles use Phillips Sumika Marlex® RCZ-020 resin, which provides exceptional drop height and impact strength and incorporates Milliken’s Millad® 3988 clarifying agent to achieve superior clarity.

Tide’s polypropylene caps undergo LaserSharp marking on two sides. On the left, we see an inverted bottle where Tide’s blue detergent is completely filling the dosing cap. Fill-level guidelines are visible both when detergent is in the cap as pictured, and when the cap is empty. On the upper right, we see the OXI logo on the other side of the cap.
