A.J. Miller has joined Silgan Closures as Marketing Manager. His primary role in this position will be to establish and execute marketing strategies that will promote Silgan Closure's products and its position in the marketplace, while identifying new areas for innovation and supporting the company’s competitive advantage.
Miller comes to Silgan Closures from Smithfield Foods, where he was Senior Brand Manager responsible for strategic planning and oversight for numerous brands and for managing the company’s advertising and public relations agencies. Prior to that he was a brand manager and national sales manager for Morton Salt.
“A.J. will be a welcome addition to Silgan Closures as he directs and strengthens our expanding strategic marketing efforts,” says Robert Reay, Silgan Closures Vice President of Sales. “His experience in brand development in particular will help us expand our presence in the packaging marketplace.”
Miller graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communication, and has a MBA in marketing management from DePaul University. Silgan White Cap is a leading supplier of metal, plastic, and composite closure systems for food and beverage products in North and South America.
