Overnight Labels (ONL), a full-service label and flexible packaging printer, promoted several areas of growth during PACK EXPO Connects. The converter has added a new press to its digital department, bringing the total number of flexographic and digital presses to 15. The new HP 6900 digital press allows ONL to offer clients HP Mosaic printing, which generates thousands of unique graphics from just one label design. In addition, the company’s new UV rotary silk-screen print unit brings a new dimension to the company’s shrink-sleeve and specialty finish competencies. To accommodate this growth, Overnight Labels has increased its building footprint to 37,500 sq ft.
PACK EXPO Connects Drives Industry Innovation: So far this week, PACK EXPO Connects has seen over 115,000 directory visits as of Nov. 11 with 108,000 visits to exhibitor showrooms. These interactions between solutions seekers and solution providers have led to 50,000 exhibitor leads this week alone and a total of over 110,000 leads since the web site launch driving industry innovation into 2021.
“We believe that maintaining an emphasis on innovation and expansion, especially during challenging times, continues to give Overnight Labels a competitive advantage,” says Don Earl, President of Overnight Labels. “These advancements allow us to increase our production capacity and strengthen our expertise in specialty labels and shrink sleeves.”
According to ONL, its presses have been running non-stop since COVID-19 started. Because its materials are sourced in the U.S., the company says it has been able to help many companies experiencing supply chain issues.
