Triplex barrier alternative

Constantia Multifilm  has introduced Hi-Z™ packaging film, aimed at replacing expensive barrier

Pw 8097 M Constantia Multi
metallized triplex materials without sacrificing barrier, optics, or performance. Hi-Z is a metallized sealant web that can be laminated to a reverse-printed PET or OPP, resulting in a high-gloss, high-barrier material that offers the performance of 3 plies in only 2. Because of the good hot tack of the CPP and the low friction, the film runs well on both vf/f/s and hf/f/s machines. Film is available in 1.2-, 1.6-, and 2-mil thicknesses and is suitable for fractional pack coffee, snacks, dry foods, nuts, and confections.
