Detachable label

Topflight (York, PA) has designed a detachable "flag" label for identification on vials, pre-filled syringes or other drug containers. The structure features two overlapping adhesive film surfaces.

Variable data-patient coding, lot numbering, expiration-is imprinted on both the permanent, wrap-around surface of the label and the flag surface. The flag may then be removed and reapplied as part of the permanent patient record. Imprinting options include laser printing and imaging, hot stamping and thermal printing.
