Klockner Pentaplast of America (Gordonsville, VA) has opened a new packaging technology center at its headquarters location. The center has two separate sections: one for pharmaceutical applications, the other for food, medical device, static control and general thermoforming applications.

Also, Klockner Barrier Films Div. (Gordonsville, VA) has opened a new coating line for pharmaceutical films, doubling the plant's capacity to produce PVDC-coated and ACLAR®-laminated barrier films for moisture-sensitive pharmaceutical products.
