Inkjet, Inc: Printer provides multiple printing and marking stations for one or more packaging lines

InkJet’s SP-2000 Printing System uses Versatile Intelligent Printing with Expandable Raster (VIPER) technology, enabling quick setup and printing of up to 16-in. high characters or lines of smaller multiple characters and codes at different printing stations on one or more packaging lines.

Pw 47418 Printhead 2 Inch Highres

Up to 16 Anser Smart Printstations can support a total of 64 stitched or stand-alone printheads that produce high resolution 1D and 2D barcodes, date, time, and other production codes as well as alphanumeric text using any MS Windows font. The SP-2000 can network to shop floor systems and multiple databases for printing variable data, and integrate into existing platforms through the Anser Data Tunnel (ADT).

The SP-2000 is suitable for secondary and final packaging. It can be used for carton printing, eliminating the need to inventory pre-printed boxes or labels. In addition to corrugated printing applications, the SP-2000 can be used by promotional mailing houses, food and beverage package printers and on other primary and secondary packaging lines needing multiple marking requirements and locations. It achieves printing speeds of up to 500 fpm at 150 dpi. Applications-specific software is available for food and beverage marking.

The SP-2000 dramatically reduces downtime because of its compact design, on-the-fly character and code editing features, and its use of the “clean” Hewlett-Packard printing platform that uses either drop-in ink cartridges or the Anser bulk ink system.
