The EOL Group is restructuring its executive leadership team. Effective April 1, 2026, Roger Schmidt has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Sebastian Jost, who will transition into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and take responsibility for the company’s operational business.

With Roger Schmidt, the EOL Group gains a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive expertise in transformation, business development, and international expansion. Most recently, he worked as an independent interim executive and brings over 30 years of experience in the global machinery and plant engineering industry. He also contributes deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in executing internationalization strategies, including global business unit development and cross-location operations management.
