Parkside, a provider of flexible packaging solutions, has appointed Joe Strathearn as its new Global Sales Director.

Joe’s new role will see him work across Parkside’s Specialty and Tobacco divisions, focusing on expanding the company’s global reach and driving fresh innovation.

He has an extensive career in packaging sales and leadership, beginning in paper before transitioning to flexibles, during which time he has held a number of senior leadership roles including most recently UK Sales Director at Coveris Group.

Joe’s immediate priorities will be strengthening Parkside’s existing partnerships, building new ones, and ensuring the company can continue deliver solutions that drive real value for its customers.

“I’ve admired Parkside for many years – for its strong reputation in innovation, and most importantly, its culture,” he said. “Having recently had the chance to get to know the business and its people more closely, it’s clear that behind the company’s success is not only a highly skilled team, but also a genuine sense of pride in the contribution each individual makes.

“I feel genuinely privileged to join Parkside at this stage of its journey. It’s not often you find a business that reflects your own values so closely, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to play a part in its future.”
