Weiler Engineering: Aseptic liquid processing technology

Weiler Engineering (Elgin, IL) has designed Asep-Tech® aseptic liquid processing technology for parenteral drug products. The Model 640 blow/fill/seal machine incorporates the 3-step process of blow molding, aseptic filling, and hermetic sealing of liquid products in one sequential operation.

Machine is capable of high-volume production of 2-, 3-, and 5-mL ampoules and is capable of producing 10겨 5-mL containers/hr. Ampoules are available in HDPE, LDPE, and PP. Machine can also produce complete sterile, liquid-filled, tamper-evident packages in sizes ranging from 0.5 to 500 mL.
