Warner Electric, Altra Industrial Motion: Positioning control system

Warner Electric's (South Beloit, IL) CBC-1000 positioning control system is designed to reduce auger filling inaccuracies. Includes a position-loop control, clutch/brake (and clutch/brake control) and an encoder.

May be installed on older or new machines for filling of powders, granulars, liquids and pastes. The system accepts feedback from an encoder that monitors auger shaft rotation, using that information to determine the optimum brake actuation point.
