Members of FANUC's (Rochester Hills, MI) family of rail-mounted overhead robots have six axes to manage multiple stations' loading and unloading operations.

The overhead mount feature expands the range of motion for secondary procedures such as trimming, washing, palletizing and labeling. Machines require less floor space and lower ceiling height than is needed for gantry robots, according to manufacturer.
