The robust package of Lexium MDrive products is further enhanced by M12 circular connectors for industrial applications. Combined with its compact size, the integrated stepper motor, controller, I/O and drive electronics with closed loop performance is an ideal fit for many motion applications.

Interfacing to CANopen networks is easy with direct configuration of Lexium MDrive (LMD) products via layer setting services, or with available accessories including a communication converter kit. LMD CANopen products support CiA DS301 and DSP402 device profile for drives and motion control.

“Industry standards for M12 connectors and CANopen field bus simplify adding components to new or existing systems. With M12 CANopen Lexium MDrive integrated motors, machine builders also benefit from compact size, low cost, and high reliability. For ease of ordering, we also offer installation accessories from a CAN dongle to connecting cordsets,” according to Paul Kling, Vice President Sales, SEM USA.
