Simplifying applications by accommodating common international metric mounting hardware and requirements, FIM and FEM connectors seal conventional and non-standard surfaces and connect to any tube or pipe, smooth or threaded, for testing and sealing applications.

FIM and FEM connectors minimize part damage and increase connection and testing speed for improved manufacturing productivity. The automated sealing feature uses compressed air to activate the elastomeric seals for a full-flow test with air, gas or liquid, providing an ideal solution for high-volume production testing. Designed to deliver uniform seal movement, they offer a virtually leak-proof connection, even over threaded, rough and oily surfaces. Additionally, the Neoprene sealing material delivers durability, seal-life longevity and an operating temperature range of -40° to 250°F, while Urethane seal models provide petroleum resistance.

FEM connectors provide automated external sealing from vacuum to 500 psi and connect to outside diameters that range as small as 0.76 mm (0.030 inches) to as large as 128.0 mm (5.040 inches), with pilot port specifications of 1/8'' BSPP. FIM connectors are engineered for internal sealing up to 120 psi and can be used for inside diameters ranging from 7.87 mm (0.310 inches) to 76.32 mm (3.005 inches), with custom sizes available to meet specific application requirements.

FasTest’s FIM and FEM connectors deliver an automated solution for a wide range of industries and applications, including:

• Automated production testing applications
• Pick and place parts handling
• Delicate robotic material handling
