For example, an RG3-30 drive provides 60 lb of axial thrust with 150-mm L housing. The 4-bearing option (RG4_30 delivers 120 lb of thrust with a housing only 30mm longer than the RG3. Users faced with limited space and high thrust requirements can increase thrust with the 4-bearing option as a less expensive alternative to buying a larger drive.
