Pepperl + Fuchs: Ergonomic buttons

Pepperl+Fuchs (Twinsburg, OH) palm buttons are an ergonomic alternative to mechanical push buttons. A slight touch activates the button, helping to reduce repetitive motion injuries.

Palm buttons sense the operator’s hand through a heavy glove. Used with a standard 2-hand machine control, the button’s self-checking circuitry offers more reliable operation. Buttons are rated IP64 and are available in 120-vAC and 24-vDC versions.
