Baldor (Fort Smith, AR) introduces a new line of controls for brushless linear motors. All 3 models--the LinDrive, the Lin+Drive and the MintDrive--plug directly into the wall and have autotune routines to self-adjust after initial set-up.

The LinDrive is PLC-controlled. The Lin+Drive combines a simple motion controller and amplifier, but offers 15 preset positions for repeatable moves. The MintDrive contains its own programmable positioner and amplifier in 1 box that is only 8"Hx4.3"Wx6"D.
