Kollmorgen: Motion control chip

Kollmorgen Motion Technologies (Radford, VA) has introduced a new motion control chip designed to simplify the motion controller. The PCD-4500 combines control and translator functions into one 44 QFD package, and operates as a satellite microprocessor to simplify motion design.
