Warner Electric (S. Beloit, IL) has introduced the new Precision Tork® line of permanent magnetic clutches and brakes for light tension control ranging from 0.5-oz" to 65-lb".

The Precision Tork provides a smooth torque at most slip speeds and consistently slips at a preset torque, reducing the "chatter" and 15-20% torque variability often found in friction clutches.
