Matched Performance(TM) Selection Software on CD-ROM from Baldor Electric (Fort Smith, AK) assists the user in selecting the correct motor and control.

Users specify the drive technology and define the driven load and load profile, and then the software selects the most appropriate drive (motor and control). Drive technology selections include inverters, closed-loop and encoderless vectors, DC SCR, DC and AC servo, spindle drives and the Baldor SmartMotor(TM). The software can identify up to 32 drives per machine.
