Sencorp Systems' (Hyannis, MA) new line of hot-bar laboratory sealers were designed specifically to address concerns with medical packaging. Both Series 12-AS/2 and AS/3 are designed with external calibration ports to facilitate calibration of temperature, pressure and dwell time while the machine is in production.

Both are available in versions to accommodate up to 12" or 24" pouches. The AS/2 offers separate, discrete control of each sealing parameter. The AS/3 is PLC-controlled, allowing full data storage and linking with other machines, such as bar code equipment.
