Sasib Beverage (DePere, WI) obtained a $7.6 million contract for the lines. The contract includes design, installation, and complete technical support for start-up of the lines right through to testing. Also to be supplied are advanced information technology systems, which will aid in plant management and data acquisition, and a new system for real-time management of the spare parts warehouse that was highlighted recently at Drinktec-Interbrau in Munich.
Two new lines for Pepsi bottler
Bottlers of Pepsi Cola in Venezuela, Sopresa (Polar Group) will install two complete filling and packaging lines for returnable glass into a brand new factory in Maracaibo.
