The increase is attributed to Praxis’ involvement with new drug launches in conjunction with Food and Drug Administration approvals as well as to increased business in over-the-counter pharmaceutical packaging.
Company president Rick King says Praxis and its network of partners have developed a niche in patient starter kits for new drugs. Managing the starter kits from design and development through to production and fulfillment—it’s an often rapid process—is a key to Praxis’ success in this market, King adds.
