A+ Secure Packaging, LaVergne, TN, says the Food and Drug Administration has registered the company’s recently completed facility as a drug firm. “With our latest investments and state-of-the-art technology and equipment, we are well-positioned to offer customers turnkey solutions for primary and secondary packaging needs,” says Ronnie Smith, company president.

PrePak Holdings Inc., Cookeville, TN, has acquired TestPak, a health care supply chain company in Whippany, NJ. PrePak Holdings is a group of companies focused on contract manufacturing and packaging, and TestPak is a contract packaging company focused on pharmaceuticals. The purchase of TestPak is PrePak’s first operation in the New Jersey area. TestPak’s three-site campus has nearly 90,000 sq ft of production and warehouse space, including 26 climate-controlled packaging suites.

The Visual Pak Companies is significantly expanding its blend and fill operations in response to increased customer demand for broader capabilities and higher production levels. Visual Pak’s American Blending & Filling division has added a major production facility in Waukegan, IL through acquisition. The move expands Visual Pak’s manufacturing and warehousing capacity by more than 200,000 sq ft.
