Three awards received: Silver - Green Apple Award for waste management, Silver - Green Apple Environment Award, and Gold - Green Apple Award for plastic reduction. The Gold award went to the packaging solution using Technoplat PW paper, a breakthrough in replacing plastic with fully recyclable kraft paper”. The managers who took part in the award ceremony added that “it was an unforgettable moment to be in such a historic place and have the work and commitment of the team recognised for achieving real environmental progress”.

TECHNOPLAT PW: SUSTAINABLE AND SAFE PACKAGING

Aetna Group continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and product protection with Robopac end-of-line packaging solutions that combine efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility.

One of the most significant responses to an increasingly eco-conscious market is Technoplat PW, the paper wrapping turntable that ensures maximum product protection. This advanced system shields goods from sunlight and potential damage during storage and transport, ensuring product quality and integrity all the way to final delivery.

Another key advantage is pallet stabilisation (up to 35 pallets/hour), certified in compliance with EUMOS regulations, guaranteeing safety and reliability throughout all transport phases. Special attention is also given to operator safety: thanks to an innovative multi-sensor safety mat, the wrapping cycle automatically stops when a human presence is detected, preventing workplace risks and accidents.

Completing Technoplat PW’s equipment is the R-Connect device, the "turnkey" digital system for end users that provides total peace of mind — optimising performance, minimising downtime, enabling predictive maintenance, and allowing remote software updates.

Finally, Technoplat PW integrates Cube Technology. This is the patented system that optimises wrapping based on load characteristics, reducing material usage while ensuring maximum logistics safety, even for delicate products.

With this solution, Aetna Group upholds its mission: to offer cutting-edge technologies that bring together sustainability, protection, and safety, for the benefit of customers and the community.

AN INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

Following this success, Aetna Group has been invited to accept the role of Green World Ambassador, with the opportunity to publish its award-winning project in The Green Book, the leading international guide to best environmental practices.
