Take a deep breath...

One paperboard packaging advocate argues that using the product can help us all breathe easier—literally and figuratively.

The trees used to produce paper packages are a 100 percent renewable resource. And what's more, "one acre of trees absorbs six tons of carbon dioxide and puts out 4 tons of oxygen." It almost goes without saying that any contribution to reducing carbon dioxide and increasing oxygen will help people breathe easier—in the truest sense. But planting trees—replanting trees—is a great ecological initiative that any manufacturer of paperboard packaging could be proud of. And of course, paper is one of the easiest products to recycle. In fact, "the majority of the paperboard packaging that is recycled goes back into paperboard packaging." That's almost reason to say "Om."
