Be Green Packaging has won Silver Cradle-to-Cradle certification for its bulrush packaging.

The award was presented by McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC), a leading environmental consulting firm. Be Green's bulrush packaging is a tree-free compostable food container used by food service, deli, vegetable, meat, fish and poultry industries. Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) assessments focus on the use of safe and healthy materials, reuse and recycling of materials, efficient use of water and energy during production, and strategies for social responsibility.
