Wal-Mart steps up eco-friendly practices in Hawaii...

Solar energy, large-scale recycling efforts, product selection, and consumer education initiatives are being introduced in a big way in Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores on the islands of Hawaii.

Then, Wal-Mart bundles the bags, and other plastic recycling materials into "sandwich bales" and sends it back to the mainland for recycling.
