Microsoft has been a major influence in computer software, and as Tech Radar.com reports it is extending its reach into packaging in the category Microsoft blogger Brandon LeBlanc writes that the new packaging for Windows 7 reduces package weight by 37% and improves the econometrics score by 50%, compared with the brand’s previous packaging. Any packaging improvements that can help consumers better navigate this category is a good thing, and if they also address sustainability considerations, so much the better.
