SIG Doboy offers its latest Paloma Feed Placer that places products into cartoners or wrappers. Unit makes use of the speed and versatility of ‘hexapod’ manipulators within the company’s Delta Robot system, company says.

Using a two-robot cell, up to 160 products/min can be accurately and reliably placed. Product changeovers can be made in 5 min using inexpensive changeover parts. Grippers are supplied that can pick up almost any kind of product. A typical application is grouping products into layers before packing.
