Standard-Knapp: Tray stacker

Standard-Knapp (Portland, CT) has introduced the Continuum 296I tray stacker. Two tiers of trays are created before trays enter the shrink wrapper, thereby doubling tray output for the same packs/min rate.

Said to increase palletizer capacity by a factor of 2 without increasing its cycle rate. Can be used for glass jars, PET and fiber cans. Two-position clutch changes the operation from single- to double-tier.
