AMF Automation Technologies and Integrated Packaging Machinery merge

AMF Automation Technologies Inc. of Richmond, Virginia and Integrated Packaging Machinery (IPM) of Grand Rapids, Michigan have signed a definitive agreement to join forces in the secondary packaging automation market.

AMF and IPM have been cooperating in the Dairy and Cheese markets for a number of years and this agreement, while joining the companies in ownership, takes the partnership to a new level of combined competencies. According to Brad Lamb, President of IPM, “The added technical support that AMF will bring to IPM will enable us to expand our offering to our current customers as well as push into new markets.” Tim Cook, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, AMF, said, “When you consider IPM’s focus on the packaging industry and their robotics capability, combined with AMF’s core case packing technology, we believe it will be a winning combination for our customers.”
