Krones Inc., a regional subsidiary of Krones AG, celebrated the grand opening of its new Krones Logistics Center in Franklin, WI, yesterday. The facility consolidates the company’s shipping and warehousing operations across the North American region with the capability to manage up to 50,000 individual stock-keeping units (SKUs) representing millions of parts. This enhanced system ensures long-term flexibility as customer needs and product portfolios continue to evolve.
The 240,000-square-foot facility is located next to the Franklin Business Park, located at 3617 W. Oakwood Road, Franklin, Wis. about two miles from Krones’ North American headquarters. The location consolidates the company’s extensive logistics operations into a single, purpose-built location, creating a more efficient, reliable, and scalable distribution network. Through this investment, Krones is providing its customers with improved service quality, greater availability, and a reduction in logistics-related challenges.
In addition to the primary benefits of elevated service and faster deliveries, the new Logistics Center also frees up valuable space on the Krones Inc. campus for expanded manufacturing and future growth.
