Sidel Inc: High-speed, low-level palletizing

Sidel’s SP 1000 HS is a high-speed low-level palletizer that uses improved machinery and intelligent software to effectively combine 2 core functions, layer preparation and palletization, to maintain steady pallets while layers are in movement.

During layer formation the machine rotates and positions the packs into a perfectly shaped layer to be transferred onto the pallet. Next, the layers are picked up and safely stacked onto the pallet with precision. The patent-pending “pusher” guides the layers alternatively to the right or to the left while optimizing the “return stroke” time, increasing the speed of the process.
