Columbia/Okura: 3-line bag palletizer

With a single Columbia/Okura robotic palletizer, producers of bagged products can simultaneously palletize the output of 3 separate, lower-speed production lines.

Robot automatically adjusts itself to handle different bag styles and sizes at the same time, reaching speeds of 5 bags/min for each of 3 lines, or a total cumulative speed of 15 bags/min. Said to eliminate the need for dedicated machines on many multiple-production lines, save space and money. The multiple-function end effector can also be equipped to handle slip-sheets and pallets.
