Chase-Logeman Corporation: Fill/stopper/tray load system

Chase-Logeman (Greensboro, NC) has introduced the Model FSTS2-12H automatic filling, stoppering and tray loading system. It uses a positive displacement servo-driven pump to fill glass or plastic bottles ranging from 2 mL to 100 mL at speeds to 120 bottles/min.

Stopper sizes can range from 13 to 20 mm. The system can also apply snap-on atomizers. The ChaseLock(TM) Quick-change tooling reduces changeover to about 15 min. Tool-less fasteners permit adjustment of bottle sizes. A vacuum hold-down system permits changing of stopper size.
