ATD Inkjet Systems has launched a new ink-jet printing system capable of producing approximately 4”-tall images. The IP 7000[tm] series prints variable information including quality graphics, scannable bar codes, and alphanumeric text onto a variety of porous materials such as secondary packaging, paper overwraps, and industrial fabrics.

The printer features [b]Trident[n] 768Jet[tm] print heads, which can produce 10-cm images, said to be the tallest image available from a single print pass in the direct-to-carton ink-jet market.
